Welcome to our website from your President and Board of Directors.
I would like to thank all of you for the confidence you have shown by electing me as your President for the upcoming year. On behalf of our Board of Directors-I would like to thank Donna Shaw Pope for her hard work and commitment as President this past year.
We are very fortunate to have an extremely talented Board of Directors. I would like to welcome our newly elected board members: Tony Consoli, Senior Vice-President at C Biz Insurance Services, Inc. is our Treasurer, and Joanne Kowalczyk, Senior Account Executive, AON Risk Services Central, Inc. is our Sergeant-at -Arms.
This year our focus will be on three E's Education, Engagement and Expertise. As busy risk management professionals working in a volatile healthcare environment, we need to keep up with the rapid changes taking place at light speed in healthcare. Please plan to come to our educational sessions for learning, support and networking. In addition to education, through engagement- working together as society members- we can assist each other day to day by utilizing our website for posting questions, sharing ideas, announcing job opportunities and networking with peers. Our society gives us the opportunity to share with each other our collective expertise- we need all of you to take part in our society's activities by attending programs, running for office, serving on a committee or providing an educational program. We encourage you to share your knowledge and expertise with all of us.
Through active participation, our society will continue to grow and enhance healthcare risk management and patient safety throughout New Jersey.
